Tarrant TX-
607 PM CDT SAT APR 21 2018
The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for...
Tarrant County in north central Texas...
* Until 800 PM CDT.
* At 606 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms that were
producing heavy rainfall across Tarrant County from North Richland
Hills to just south of Benbrook. Excessive runoff from these
thunderstorms will cause minor flooding. Areas that are low lying
or usually experience poor drainage are most likely to experience
flooding. This means some low water crossings in the region may
become impassable.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Euless,
Bedford, Grapevine, Haltom City, Keller, Hurst, Burleson,
Southlake, Watauga, Colleyville, Benbrook, Saginaw, White
Settlement, Crowley and Forest Hill.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
