This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Widespread showers with isolated thunderstorms are expected late
tonight through Friday afternoon and evening. Storm total rainfall of
1 to locally 2 inches will be possible. Locally up to 3 inches may
fall in thunderstorms. Minor flooding will be possible, especially in
urban areas and around creeks and streams.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

There is a marginal risk for severe weather Friday afternoon and
early evening, mainly along the Interstate 95 corridor eastward to
the coast. A few thunderstorms may become severe, with the main
hazard of damaging wind gusts to near 60 mph. An isolated tornado is
also possible.

In addition, showers and thunderstorms will likely produce locally
very heavy rainfall Friday afternoon and evening. 1 to 2 inches of
rain appears likely, with locally 3 inches possible. The heaviest
rainfall should be Friday afternoon and evening when up to 2 inches
in an hour may fall. Minor flooding can be expected, mostly in urban
and poor drainage areas.
