This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion

Near critical fire weather conditions can be expected in extreme
southwestern Kansas this afternoon. Sustained winds are expected
to increase to 20 mph with frequent gusts to 35 mph, along with
humidity falling to 14-17% along the Colorado state line in Morton
and Stanton counties.

Day 1 Hazards
* Non-thunderstorm wind: Limited risk
* Fire weather: Significant risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
