This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion
 Widespread rain and snow showers will transition to
 all snow by 3 AM. Snow accumulations of up to 4 inches near I-70
 are possible, steadily increasing with southward extent. Highest
 snow totals are expected south of US-50 and between US-83 and
 US-183, where snow totals could reach 8 inches. Locally higher
 amounts are possible along the KS/OK border, especially in Meade
 and Clark counties.

Day 1 Hazards
* Snow: Significant risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Days 2-7 Discussion
 No hazards are expected Wednesday and
 Thursday. Elevated fire risk is possible Friday through monday as
 seasonably warm temperatures and low relative humidities could
 pose a fire risk. However, light winds should preclude a higher
 fire risk level.
