Clouds covered most of the state overnight. A few flurries lingered
into central Minnesota. Early morning temperatures ranged from
around 10 above far northeast to the lower 30s to the southwest.

A weak disturbance will move across northern Minnesota today causing
some rain and snow showers. Morning flurries into central MInnesota
will give way to mostly cloudy conditions. Highs should only warm to
the mid 30s to lower 40s.

Weak high pressure will dominate the weather Thursday with dry and
cool conditions. Highs will warm through the mid 30s to lower 40s.

A stronger storms system will travel across the mid Mississippi
valley region Friday into Saturday. Confidence is increasing that
accumulating snow will occur across much of central and southern
Minnesota Friday into Saturday. Stay tuned for updates to the
