...The Flood Warning has been canceled and downgraded to a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Upper Michigan...

  Sturgeon River near Alston affecting Baraga and Houghton Counties

.The Sturgeon River has fallen below flood stage but will continue to run at or
above bankfull for the next day or two. Light to moderate additional rain is
expected Wednesday but a rise back above flood stage is not expected at this
time.

The Flood Warning is canceled for
  The Sturgeon River near Alston.
  And has been downgraded to a Flood Advisory.
* At  6:30 AM Tuesday the stage was 7.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to remain steady near its current
  levels of bankfull.
