.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions across northern Iowa this afternoon with relative
humidity falling to near 20%. Central and southern Iowa will see
humidity closer to 45%. Wind will be 10-15 mph, from the south in
central to southern Iowa and from the north in northern Iowa.
These lighter winds should help to mitigate fire weather
concerns, especially with Friday evening storms that occurred to
wet ground and fuels. Additional storms are expected on Saturday
night into SUnday morning. Sunday will be breezy with gusts of
35-40 mph possible, though relative humidity by Sunday will be
in the 40-55% range.
