East Slopes Sacramento Mountains Below 7500 Feet-
Including the cities of Cloudcroft, Sunspot, Apache Summit,
Mayhill, Pinon, and Sacramento

At 1255 pm...convection over the Sacramento mountains and along
adjacent east slopes, was developing into isolated shower and
thunderstorms. Downburst wind gusts to 50 mph, locally heavy
rainfall mixed with hail and frequent cloud to ground lightning
are the main impacts with this activity through 2 pm. Rapid runoff
along area creeks and streams will accompany some of the stronger
storms. Storms in this area may intensify over the next hour.
