Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
348 AM CDT Thu Mar 22 2018

Skies over much of the Upper Midwest this morning were clear with
the exception of some clouds over portions of Minnesota.
Temperatures ranged from the teens across northern Minnesota to
the 30s over southern Iowa.

Today will be another quiet day across the region. A large area of
high pressure over the Great Lakes will provide partly to mostly
sunny skies. This will allow temperatures to top out in a range
from the 30s to the 50s.

Clouds will begin to increase tonight over the western portions of
Minnesota and Iowa ahead of a storm system advancing toward the
region. The rest of the Upper Midwest will still be under the
influence of the high pressure area with mostly clear skies. Low
temperatures should again range from the teens to the 30s.
