Overnight, temperatures ranged from the low to mid 30s across
northwestern Nebraska to the lower to mid 40s over central into
eastern Nebraska. South winds of 10 to 15 mph last evening became
northwest at 20 to 35 mph overnight as a cold front moved through
the area. In addition, widespread rain showers moved over much of
the state overnight.

Today, highs will be much cooler than yesterday with temperatures
mostly in the 40s. Winds will continue out of the northwest at 20 to
35 mph. Showers also will persist today, especially over
southeastern through northeastern parts of the area.
