For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front passes over Lake Huron, bringing gusty
northwest winds through the morning. Broad high pressure moves in
ahead of the next cold front set to arrive on Thursday. A warm
front then sets up across the region Friday into Sunday with
several waves of low pressure tracking along it.

in the afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest 5 to
10 knots late in the evening...then increasing to 10 to 15 knots
after midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in the
late evening and overnight.
.THURSDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then veering
to the west with gusts to around 30 knots early in the afternoon.
Waves 3 to 5 feet building to 4 to 6 feet early in the afternoon.
Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots decreasing to
10 to 15 knots in the late evening and early morning...then
becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Waves 4 to
6 feet. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.FRIDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots.
Snow and rain likely late in the morning. Rain late in the
afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 4 to 6 feet. Waves

.SATURDAY...Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to
25 knots in the late evening and early morning. Rain early in the
morning. Rain likely. Snow and freezing rain likely in the late

.SUNDAY...Northeast winds 20 to 25 knots decreasing to 15 to
20 knots until early morning. Rain...snow and freezing rain
