...Moderate to Briefly Heavy Snow Overnight...

An area of nearly stationary moderate to heavy snow has developed
across portions of northern Illinois, mainly north of I-90. This
higher intensity snow is causing roads to become snow covered,
and slippery conditions are being reported. The snow will likely
remain in place over the next couple of hours, and then slowly
exit to the northeast. Those traveling in this location should use
caution as snow covered roads and reduced visibility will cause
hazardous driving conditions in some locations.
