Through 2 AM, a band of moderate to heavy wintry precipitation
will move into portions of central Virginia, the central
Shenandoah Valley, and eastern West Virginia. While sleet will
fall at times, the predominant precipitation type will become
snow. Snowfall rates around 1 inch per hour are likely, especially
in the higher terrain.

The ground can become covered quickly in heavy snow, and
visibility may drop below one-quarter mile. Use caution if you
must venture out.
