Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Skies were mostly clear overnight with light south to southwest
winds. Early morning temperatures were in the 20s to lower 30s
across the central high plains.

Warm and dry conditions will continue Today and Thursday with
daytime highs climbing into the 70s and lower 80s by Friday. There
is a chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms on Friday with
more dry conditions to follow on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures
on Saturday and Sunday will cool slightly with a more active
pattern developing from Sunday night through Wednesday. A mix of
rain and snow is expected during the period from late Sunday
through Wednesday with temperatures returning to near average for
this time of year.
