HYDROLOGIC OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TIYAN GU
346 PM ChST Mon Jul 27 2020

...HEAVY RAINFALL REMAINS POSSIBLE THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

The upper-level trough expected to bring heavy rainfall to the
Marianas this week remains a bit farther north than expected. The
trade-wind troughs will continue to affect the region. These troughs
will bring occasional showers to Guam and Rota Tuesday night through
Thursday, with showers likely at Tinian and Saipan, though rainfall
does not look to be as heavy as it would be if the upper trough moved
farther south. Heavy rainfall does remain a possibility, though it
is now less likely.

This system will continue to be monitored closely over the next
couple of days. This outlook will not be updated, though a watch,
advisory or warning may still be needed.

Localized flooding remains a possibility in low-lying and poor
drainage areas. Now is the time to check storm drains and make sure
they are not clogged.
