.DISCUSSION...
Afternoon and night time showers and thunderstorms will continue
over the region this week. Periods of heavy rain and flooding near
burn scars remain the main threat. Thunderstorms will become more
prevalent west of Deming Tuesday/Wednesday. Increasing mid-level
southeast flow should pushadditional moisture into all areas on
Thursday and Friday, with scattered to numerous thunderstorms.
Heavy rain and localized flooding will also likely increase for
this period. Storm outflows will also cause strong, erratic wind
shifts with wind gusts of 40-50 mph possible. Min RH: Lowlands
20-30%: Gila/Black Range 25-35%: Sacramento Mtns 35-50% through F
riday. Vent rates fair-good through Friday.
