A sunny to partly sunny sky was over the Tri-State area early this
afternoon. 2 PM MDT (3 PM CDT) temperatures were 9 to 15 degrees
cooler compared to 24 hours ago with readings ranging from 77
degrees near Firstview Colorado to 88 degrees south of Tribune.


OUTLOOK... There will be a chance for thunderstorms through about
midnight for locations across far eastern Colorado and the
northwest portion of the Tri-State area. A few storms could be
severe with large hail and damaging winds. Fog is expected across
much of the area a few hours either side of sunrise Friday
morning. Low temperatures will be near normal in the low to mid
60s. Isolated thunderstorms are possible in the vicinity of the
Colorado Kansas border Friday afternoon. High temperatures are
expected to reach the lower to upper 90s. The outlook through the
weekend calls for high temperatures in the low to mid 90s. A few
thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon and evening.
