The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Central St. Tammany Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 453 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Up to one to two inches of rain has already fallen in a short
  duration.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Slidell, Pearl River, Abita Springs, Lacombe and Slidell Airport.

Additional rainfall of a half inch to one inch may be possible over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
