The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  North central Garfield County in southern Utah...

* Until 430 PM MDT

* At 323 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 19 miles east of
  Boulder, or 19 miles south of Fruita, moving southeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will impact the Waterpocket Fold district
  of Capitol Reef National Park including Notom Road and the Burr
  Trail.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
