Winds will be on the increase out of the southeast today, as we
become stuck between the exiting ridge of surface high pressure
across Minnesota, and low pressure over Montana and Wyoming. Breezy
southeasterly winds of 15 to 25 mph will become common this afternoon
along and west of the Missouri River. The next chance of showers and
thunderstorms may arrive Friday afternoon into Friday night.

Temperatures will top out in the mid 70s to near 80 degrees through
the weekend. Low temperatures tonight will range from the mid 50s
over western Minnesota and eastern South Dakota, to the low 60s over
central South Dakota.
