At 939 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Western Lake Martin, or 8 miles east of Equality, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Alexander City, Dadeville, Camp Hill, Jacksons` Gap, Eastern Lake Martin, Western Lake Martin, Northern Lake Martin, Southern Lake Martin, Wind Creek State Park, Still Waters Resort, Fishpond, Susannah Crossing, Maxwell Gunter Recreation Area, Blue Creek Marina, Dare Park, and Eagle Creek.
