.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...The weak surface trough will
continue to move west tonight as winds shift northeast. Satellite
shows a broad area of subsidence east of Manu`a slowly moving
west. This stable airmass will suppress showers tonight through
Thursday night. Models continue to bring another trough across the
islands on Friday but showers are now at scattered. A strong high
pressure to the south will bring breezy trades on Friday and push
showers slightly north from the territory.

.Long term...
SATURDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...Breezy winds will persist through
Saturday night. The high pressure will migrate southeast and this
will gradually diminish winds to gentle flow on Sunday. A trough
is expected to pass south of the islands on Monday night and winds
will further diminish to light flow through midweek.

.Marine...
Seas of 5 to 7 feet will persist through Thursday night. Breezy
winds will slightly elevate seas up 6 to 8 feet on Friday through
Saturday night. As winds diminish, seas will again subside 5 to 7
feet on Sunday. These moderate seas conditions will persist
through the new week.
