The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Duval County in south central Texas...
  Western Jim Wells County in south central Texas...

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 852 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  San Diego, Premont, Benavides, Concepcion, Palito Blanco, Realitos,
  La Gloria, Cruz Calle, Ramirez, Rios, San Jose and Alice Acres.

Additional rainfall of 2 to 4 inches is expected over the area, as
these showers and storms are slow-moving. This additional rain will
result in minor flooding.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
