This morning, the first quiet morning in what has seemed like a
few days made for a calm start to Thursday. Winds remained light
overnight with mostly clear skies. This led to temperatures
falling into the 20s across the region.

For today, abundant sunshine is expected across much of the Plains
today. Light southeast winds may produce gusts up to 25 mph
generally west of Highway 61, otherwise a pleasant day is expected
with highs in the upper 40s and 50s and even a few lowers 60s
across southwest Nebraska.
