Winds will be sustained around 10 mph today at the burn site with occasional gusts to 16-18 mph, strongest mid-day then becoming a bit weaker in the late afternoon hours. Relative humidity values will be around 50 percent at the planned ignition time of 1000, falling to around 35-38 percent late afternoon. Good smoke dispersal expected through much of the day. This evening light winds around 5 mph or less turning more southerly towards daybreak Friday. A cold front will move from west to east across the region Friday afternoon, arriving at the burn site around noon. This cold front Friday will cause increasing west to northwest winds around 10-12 knots and scattered showers with a few isolated thunderstorms possible.
