...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT JACKSON AND NORTHEASTERN DEKALB
COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM CDT...

At 647 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hollywood, or near Scottsboro, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsboro, Bridgeport, Stevenson, Hollywood, Skyline, Section, Ider,
Pisgah, Pleasant Groves, and Hytop.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

If on or near Lake Guntersville, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
