This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Strong to severe thunderstorms remain a possibility tonight across
much of the outlook area. Wind gusts of 60 to 70 MPH and hail near
the size of ping pong balls are the primary hazards. In addition
to the severe weather threat, heavy rain is anticipated, with a
quick 1 to 3 inches of precipitation possible in spots. If this
rain falls on top of already saturated soils, localized flooding
may be possible this evening and into the overnight hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Periodic chances for thunderstorms return to the local area
Wednesday evening, continuing off and on through at least
Saturday night. At this time, the overall-highest chance for
thunderstorms will be with an upper level disturbance forecast to
cross the local area Thursday night. There is currently too much
forecast uncertainty to confidently assess the potential for
severe weather with the storms later in the week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any possible thunderstorm
related severe weather that they observe tonight.
