This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A late-season winter storm is winding down. Most of the outlook
area is in a Winter Weather Advisory through the afternoon and
into the early evening, but areas north of a line from Loup City
to York remain in a Blizzard Warning until 7 pm this evening.

Wind speeds will very slowly decrease this evening and tonight.
By sunrise Sunday, sustained speeds should be down around 20 MPH
in most areas, with gusts largely under 30 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, near-critical fire weather
conditions are expected to develop across portions of north
central Kansas, due to the combination of gusty winds and low
relative humidity values.

Thunderstorms are possible for parts of the outlook area Tuesday
afternoon and evening, and again Friday afternoon and evening.


Spotters are encouraged to safely report snowfall amounts, along
with any possible damage from high winds.
