...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northern Meriwether,
northwestern Pike and northeastern Troup Counties through 1030 AM
EDT...

At 959 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Saint Marks, or 8 miles
northwest of Greenville, moving east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Zebulon, Greenville, Hogansville, Woodbury, Molena, Lone Oak, Gay,
Concord, Rocky Mount, Saint Marks, Mountville, Hilltop, Louise,
Odessadale, Hollonville, Alvaton, Imlac, and Wooster.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM EDT for west central
Georgia.
