...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Marion,
Muscogee, northeastern Chattahoochee, southwestern Talbot and
southern Harris Counties through 1215 AM EDT...

At 1137 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Smiths Station, or
over Smiths, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Columbus, Talbotton, Waverly Hall, Geneva, North Fort Moore, Bibb
City, Upatoi, Goat Rock Lake, Ellerslie, Laurel Hills, Green Island
Hills, Juniper, Vista Terrace, Cataula, Columbus Metropolitan
Airport, Baughville, Rose Hill, Oakland, Avondale, and Fortson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
