For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Dry and mild weather is expected today. Expect highs close to 10 degrees
above normal. Saturday becomes windy and showery ahead of an approaching
storm, then winter like weather returns Sunday which will linger
throughTuesday. Mountain snowfall from 6 to 12 inches is possible by Monday
morning with additional snowfall expected through Tuesday night. Valleys
will mainly see rain with this event with little chance for appreciable
accumulations below 7500 feet. Temperatures turn colder and are expected to
run around 10 degrees below normal through Tuesday before climbing to near
normal levels Wednesday and Thursday.
