DOUGLAS...NORTHEASTERN TANEY...SOUTHEASTERN CHRISTIAN AND TEXAS
COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM CDT...
At 213 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Norwood, or 11 miles east of Ava, moving northeast at
55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Mountain Grove, Ava, Cabool, Houston, Seymour, Mansfield, Dawson,
Norwood, Hartville, Raymondville, Huggins, Plato, Manes, Brushyknob,
Elkhead, Success, Eunice, Yukon, Roby, and Rome.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

shelter inside a building or vehicle.
