  Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...
  Waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC from 20 to 40 nm...

At 918 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms along a cold
front capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This front was
located along a line extending from 10 miles west of Surf City to
20 miles west of Wrightsville Beach, moving southeast at 25 knots.

The front will be near...
  Topsail Beach around 930 PM EDT.
  Rich Inlet, Topsail Tire Reef, and Figure Eight Island around 935
  PM EDT.
  Masonboro Sea Buoy, Wrightsville Beach, North Masonboro Island,
  Harris Reef, Billy Murrell Reef, and Johnny Mercer Pier around 940
  PM EDT.
  Dallas Rock, Liberty Ship, and South Masonboro Island around 945
  PM EDT.
  Topsail Boxcars and Carolina Beach around 950 PM EDT.
  5 Mile Boxcars, Kure Beach Point, Kure Beach, and Buoy Off
  Carolina Beach around 955 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. If caught on the open water, prepare
for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.
