Variably cloudy skies prevailed across Puerto Rico this afternoon.
Doppler radar indicated scattered to numerous showers across
central and western sections of Puerto Rico as well as across
parts of the metropolitan area. This activity will linger until
the late afternoon or early evening hours. Low level winds were
mainly from the east southeast at around 10 mph.

The afternoon showers are expected to dissipated late this
afternoon or early this evening, leaving clear to partly cloudy
skies with limited shower activity across the local islands and
surrounding waters overnight and early Tuesday morning. Low
temperatures tonight would be in the low 70s across lower
elevations and in the upper 60s at higher elevations. Winds will
be mainly east southeast at 10 mph or less.

For Tuesday, expect mostly sunny skies during the morning hours.
Cloudiness and showers are expected to increase late in the
morning hours and during the afternoon. Scattered to numerous
showers and possible a couple of thunderstorms are expected to
develop across the central and western Puerto Rico Tuesday
afternoon. This activity will linger until the late afternoon

Quiet marine conditions will continue across the local waters
with seas of 2 to 5 feet at winds at 10 knots or less.
