Generalized Statewide Coastal Waters Forecast for Hawaii

.Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters...
A strong upper disturbance approaching from the north will keep
the threat of thunderstorms in the forecast into Saturday. A
surface trough near Kauai will shift southeast tonight and hold
over the central waters Friday through Sunday. The trough will
weaken and dissipate early next week as high pressure builds in
from the northeast.

.REST OF TONIGHT...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Wave Detail: East 4 feet at 7 seconds and south southwest 3 feet
at 16 seconds. Scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms.
.FRIDAY...East southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Wave Detail: East 4 feet at 6 seconds, north northwest 4 feet at
10 seconds and south southwest 3 feet at 15 seconds. Scattered
