FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.3 inches will pass to the south of the Lake
tonight. Winds will become lighter as the high pressure moves
through. Stronger winds are expected late Wednesday night through
Thursday as low pressure of 29.2 inches moves northeast from the
mid Mississippi River Valley through mid Michigan. During this
time, gale force gusts will be possible across the southern half
of Lake Michigan thus a Gale Watch is in effect for Thursday.

Chance of rain showers overnight. Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding to
2 to 4 ft.
.THURSDAY...East winds to 30 kt becoming north. Rain showers.
Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft building to 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt. Rain showers likely
in the evening, then chance of snow and rain showers overnight.

20 kt. Waves 2 to 4 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 15 kt becoming east
10 to 20 kt after midnight, then increasing to 30 kt late. Chance
of rain showers in the evening, then rain showers overnight.
Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 3 to 5 ft.
.THURSDAY...East gales to 35 kt veering to west gales to 40 kt.
Rain showers. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft building to
8 to 12 ft occasionally to 16 ft.
