.DISCUSSION...

There is a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in place for this area
through 2100. Lightning is located just around 10 miles the
northwest and 10 miles southwest of this location, with lightning
possible over the site of the rescue within the next 30 minutes. A
Special Weather Statement is in place over this location as well,
with 50 mph winds expected within the next 15 to 20 minutes.
Please use extreme caution today with dangerous thunderstorms in
the area, and of course feel free to call our office for more
recent updates! Storms are moving northwest to southeast at 25 to
30 mph. Thunderstorm activity is expected to clear the area by 1900
this evening. Another round of storms is likely for tomorrow.
