If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... **HEAT RISK WILL RISE TO MODERATE (LEVEL 3 OF 5) IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS**. Moderate heat risk will impact those without effective cooling and/ or adequate hydration. An area of high pressure will continue to build into the area on Friday, bringing stable conditions across southern Utah. Early morning winds in the lowest elevations will be generally light and terrain driven, gradually transitioning to a northwesterly wind through the mid-to-late morning hours. For the higher elevations in the Tushar Mountains, northwest winds around 10-15 mph are expected through much of the day with gusts up to around 20 mph during the late morning and early afternoon. Hot temperatures are expected in the lower elevation areas alongside very dry humidity during the afternoon, with cooler temperatures expected in the higher elevations.
