...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT WEST CENTRAL COOK...
EAST CENTRAL ST. LOUIS AND CENTRAL LAKE COUNTIES...

At 120 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were along a line extending from
the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, to near Embarrass, and
moving southeast at 35 mph.

Wind gusts up to 35 mph, pea size hail, heavy downpours, and
occasional cloud to ground lightning can be expected with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Hoyt Lakes, Babbitt, Embarrass, Clear Lake, Forest Center, Birch
Lake, Isabella, Dumbbell Lake, southern Boundary Waters Canoe Area
Wilderness, Bald Eagle Lake, Perent Lake, Kawishiwi Lake, Isabella
Lake, Greenwood Lake, Silver Island Lake, Wilson Lake, Ridge,
Crescent Lake, and Phoebe Lake.

Seek shelter inside a sturdy building and away from windows until
these storms pass. Get off area lakes and seek shelter on shore in a
sturdy shelter or a hard topped vehicle.
