...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EAST CENTRAL MEDINA...
NORTHWESTERN ATASCOSA...SOUTHEASTERN KENDALL...BEXAR AND CENTRAL
COMAL COUNTIES UNTIL 900 AM CDT...

At 818 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Guadalupe River State Park to 6 miles
southwest of Lackland AFB. Movement was east at 15 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, Schertz, Universal City, Live Oak, Boerne, Selma,
Stinson Municipal Airport, San Antonio Int Airport, Randolph AFB,
Canyon Lake, Leon Valley, Helotes, Fair Oaks Ranch, Kirby, Alamo
Heights, Windcrest, Terrell Hills, Bulverde, Garden Ridge and Shavano
Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
