Including the cities of Ludington, Baldwin, Reed City, Clare, Hart,
Fremont, Big Rapids, Mount Pleasant, Muskegon, Greenville, Alma,
Grand Haven, Jenison, Grand Rapids, Ionia, St. Johns, Holland,
Hastings, Charlotte, Lansing, South Haven, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek,
and Jackson

...Dangerous Severe Thunderstorms Expected Tonight...

At 1000 PM EDT...Severe thunderstorms over Wisconsin were moving to
the southeast. These storms are expected to remain severe as they
cross Lake Michigan into Southwest Lower Michigan overnight. Once
the timing and locations of these storms become more certain later
tonight...expect the Storm Prediction Center to issue a Severe
Thunderstorm Watch for Southwest Lower Michigan and the adjacent

Some of these thunderstorms will be capable of moving to the east or
southeast at 60 mph and producing very destructive wind gusts. Heavy
rain and localized flooding are also a concern.
