...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ROCK...NORTHEASTERN
LOUP...NORTHERN GARFIELD...SOUTHWESTERN HOLT AND NORTHWESTERN WHEELER
COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM CDT...

At 749 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles northwest of Amelia to 13 miles
southeast of Rose. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Chambers, Amelia, Sunfish Lake, and Carson Lake.

This includes Highway 281 between mile markers 170 and 174.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
north central Nebraska.
