East to southeast winds will continue to bring smoke from
Canadian wildfires into western and central South Dakota. The
smoke is reducing the visibility to less than a mile at times.

Air quality will be affected as smoke settles into the area.
Persons sensitive to reduced air quality may experience adverse
health effects and may want to take precautions. Thick smoke may
linger over the area into the weekend.
