The table below shows gusts of 39 mph or greater which were measured in western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina as Post-Tropical Storm Isaias moved west of the Appalachians on October 10. Dozens of other sites reported peak gusts of 30 to 38 mph as Isaias made its closest pass to the area, but those observations are not included here. A few higher gusts did briefly occur in high elevations of NC, SC, and GA late Sunday night and Monday morning, October 11-12, due to a mountain wave effect, but those are not directly attributable to Isaias.
