At 526 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms mainly in southeast Oklahoma and northwest
Arkansas. Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in
Pushmataha and Choctaw counties in Oklahoma and Franklin county in
Arkansas. Movement was to the east at around 25 mph. The average
amount where it rained last hour was around one tenth of an inch
with maximum amounts of one quarter to one half of an inch.
Intensity decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast
for late this afternoon and early this evening, mostly clear, slight
a chance of showers with temperatures 70 to 79 degrees and northeast
winds 5 to 10 mph.
