At 442 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly south of a
line from Barlesville to Fayetteville. Thunderstorms with locally
heavy rain were located in Tulsa, Muskogee and Washington counties
in Oklahoma. Movement was to the northeast at greater than 40 mph.
The average amount where it rained last hour was one tenth to one
quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch to an inch and a
half. Intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area
forecast for late tonight and early this morning, cloudy, occasional
showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 63 to 67 degrees and
south winds 10 to 20 mph.
