.DISCUSSION...

The next 24 hours will bring the most active weather of the holiday
weekend.  A band of very light showers will pass through the
Lewiston area between 1200 and 1400 pdt today.  There will be a
small risk for isolated showers and thunderstorms between 1500 and
1900 pdt then thunderstorms are likely after 2100 pdt.  A few storms
may be strong containing strong wind gusts, heavy rain, and hail.
Showers will linger into Saturday morning then drier weather is
expected by Saturday afternoon and throughout the holiday weekend.
Temperatures cool Saturday then rebound back to the mid 80s Monday
and Tuesday.  A cold front will bring the next chance for light
showers and breezy winds late Tuesday into Wednesday.
