.NOW...A front is beginning to bring rain to southern Oregon.
Interstate 5 at Siskiyou Summit and some of the outlying valleys
west of the Cascades like the Applegate Valley, the Sams Valley, and
the Evans Valley are currently seeing temperatures near freezing.
This could cause the rain to begin as freezing rain for these
valleys. Temperatures will begin to warm as the rain falls, so the
period of freezing rain will be brief and at the beginning of any
precipitation. Freezing rain is not expected along the rest of
Interstate 5, Roseburg, Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland, or the
remainder of the Rogue Valley.
