Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
503 AM CDT Thu May 24 2018

.DISCUSSION...A stagnant air mass will remain in place through
the end of this week, keeping warm and humid conditions across the
forecast area. Surface winds and transport winds will be
generally light and variable, except for gusty and erratic winds
near thunderstorms. Patchy fog early morning fog will be possible
especially near areas which receive afternoon rainfall, and hazy
conditions may persist into the mid-morning hours before the
boundary layer mixes fully.
