This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southwest North
Carolina...East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Temperatures early this morning will drop below freezing across
the area. These temperatures will damage or kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.

For Tonight and Friday morning, temperatures across the northern
Plateau and northeast Tennessee are once again expected to drop
below freezing putting crops or other sensitive vegetation in

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

...Light Snowfall Possible across Parts of Southwest Virginia and
far Northeast Tennessee early Saturday Morning...

Another storm system will approach the area Friday night and
Saturday morning spreading a large area of precipitation into the
southern Appalachians. Some of the precipitation may begin as snow
across parts of southwest Virginia and far northeast Tennessee.
Light snow accumulations are possible.


Spotter activation is not expected.
